Joan Marsh-Clune, CPCU, ARM, CIC

Joan is the managing member of JLMarsh & Associates, LLC, and is an independent contractor with the Assurex Agency E&O Plus Quality Management Program.

Joan did her undergraduate work at Duke University and California State University San Francisco. Her insurance career began over 25 years ago with Life, Disablity and General Securities, Series 7, licenses doing personal financial planning and sales. Soon an opportunity arose with a large, regional insurance brokerage opening the door to Property/Casualty sales and service. With a focus on Property/Casualty, she expanded her knowledge and expertise in coverages, contract language and claims settlement practices.

Joan worked as Corporate Claims Manager at Willis-Corron in San Jose, California, and at Arthur J. Gallagher in San Francisco. In 1993 she joined Woodruff-Sawyer & Co., the Assurex Global Partner in San Francisco, as Corporate Claims Manager and subsequently was named Assistant Vice President, Quality Assurance Manager.

Joan holds professional designations Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). She is registered as a Life, Health and Property/Casualty agent.
